The postcard above is one of my favorites. I found these comical characters in an paper advertisement in the magazine Communication Arts. To secure the ribbon I put a small brad where they intersect.

This was also sent to Finland. The e-mail I got back was probably one of my favorites too. It read some ware along the lines of her little sister liked it so much to she was begging to put it up on her wall, but she refused and I'm assuming it resides still tapped to her wall. This is were I wish I could find out more about there culture and family life, 4 inches by 5 isn't enough room to write about everything.

Postcrossing

One of my favorite websites is Postcrossing. You send postcards all over the world and in return, you receive postcards from every corned of the globe. These are some of the postcards I have sent. I hand make all of them, so through my art work it's like sending a little piece of me, so theoretically I've been most every where, if you wrap your mind around it the right way.

This is the first post card I send off destined to Finland. It's not the actual making of the postcards but the reactions you get when the recipient e-mails you back and tells you they love the time and effort put into the postcard, and it's now their favorite one.

Espen's Stripes

This is the one day wonder hat, probably the fastest I have ever knitted. I am such a painfully slow knitter, which is why I am making a fuse over this baby garment, knitted and seemed in one day for baby Espen. I'm disappointed that I couldn't get a picture of him waring it he looked like quite the fashion statement. This pint sized hat was knitted with size four needles and Micro Spun, by Lion Brand Yarns. The yarn I acquired about a year ago to knit booties from. I only got one done, and it's a lumpy mess of tangled yearn at that.

I've decided rather than stressing over conjuring something amusing or funny to write, I'm converting my blog into more of away to share my art and knitting.
